Around 60 institutions have started using the Filho sem Fila app.
Schools in São Paulo have found a different way to reduce traffic and double queuing at school dismissal times. An app shows the exact time the car is arriving so that students can leave school quickly.
Around 60 schools in the capital have adopted the Filho sem Fila app. Before the parent leaves home, they can activate the app, which sends a notification as the vehicle approaches.
At Colégio Vital Brazil, in Butantã, a screen shows a photo of the child when the parent is about 200 meters away. The child is called by a microphone and is already near a separate place for parents to stop, already within the school grounds.
